Rev. Michael D. Fick, Pastor
BA Valparaiso University
M Div Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago
I've been the pastor here at Epiphany for over three years now, having been called right out of seminary in 2004 after a brief interim ministry in Roswell, NM. I'm a graduate of Valparaiso University (IN) and the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. I live close by in Baker and am so happy to be serving here in central Denver.
I'm excited about the future of the neighborhood church, especially here at Epiphany. I think there are unique opportunities for ministry in a world where the Christian message gets dominated by rigid and fundamentalist messages. I'm excited to be part of a progressive and open vision of faith in Jesus offering an alternative voice!
When I'm not at the church, I enjoy reading, working on projects around the house, movies, music of all kinds, and travel whenever time allows. As a pastor with a degree in literature as well as theology, my special interest is in sacred texts as literature, mysticism, and the intersection of faith and life in a diverse and multi-religious setting.
